To ensure maximum freshness, many of our flowers are delivered in a 'bud' form. This allows them to bloom fully in your home and extend their lifespan. Please allow 1-3 days for your buds to open and showcase their full beauty.
Essential Flower Care Tips
1. Start with a Clean Vase
- Remove any plastic or wrapping as soon as possible.
- Trim about half an inch from the stems at an angle to ensure they absorb water effectively.
- Place your flowers in a clean vase filled with room-temperature water.
2. Keep the Water Fresh
- Change the water every 2-3 days to keep bacteria from building up.
- Refill the vase regularly to ensure the stems are always submerged.
- Remove any wilting leaves or petals and trim the stems slightly with each water change.
3. Avoid Sunlight and Heat
- Place your flowers in a cool spot, away from direct sunlight, heaters, or other heat sources.
- This slows down the aging process and keeps your flowers fresher for longer.
4. Use Flower Food
- Add a flower food packet to the water to provide essential nutrients.
- Alternatively, make your own flower food:
- Ingredients: 1 teaspoon sugar, 2 teaspoons lemon juice, 1 teaspoon bleach, and 1 quart of warm water.
